Kara and her mom, Denise Steely, started out in the Farm Market Kitchen in Algoma, WI in 2006. Delivering breads and creative confections to school teachers, friends, and neighbors, and Caffe Tlazo, they soon became known as the “DoughChicks.”
DoughChicks continues to grow in Michigan. Kara & Denise process their products in a licensed commercial kitchen.
